At Smeraglia K9 new recognize the importance of a good breeder and the great resource they can be to their clients. Clients often look to breeders to not only be familiar with the breed they are looking to acquire, but to also answer questions and to provide continued support after the sale. We offer a few services to aid breeders in their efforts to meet all of their clients’ needs. From Temperament testing to help with matching puppies to the right homes to online workshops to your clients for issues they are having, we have services to help keep your clients more than satisfied. Temperament testing
Our temperament testing services provide an honest and unbiased personality profile of you puppy(s). Tests are done as close to 49 days of age as possible. During the test, an experienced evaluator, will give a basic health assessment and run the puppy through a series of test designed to evaluate the personality traits of the puppy. This allows for a much more accurate match between client and puppy. The traits we gauge during the test are energy level, personability/independence, tractability, confidence/timidness, possessiveness, playfulness, motivation, respectability, etc. Please check out our videos on Temperament tests being done. It is amazing the differences in puppies and their traits even at such a young age. We offer temperament testing services to breeders looking to better match puppies to clients. We also offer temperament testing to clients looking for help finding the right puppy for their needs.
Breeder-Request Training Classes
We realize that at times breeders spend as much time answer training questions as they spend breeding puppies. The continued support to their clients for the well being of their puppies is very important. We offer services to breeders so that they can offer this continued support to their clients. Any of our services can be set up as exclusive to a particular breeder, litter, breed, etc. Our breeder affiliates offer to their clients at a fee charged with the purchase of the puppy a variety of training services.
